Title of Position: Director of Catering Sales

Job Responsibilities: The Director will oversee all event coordination, including comprehensive management of property’s calendar and reservation system to maximize space utilization. They will manage relationships with outside contractors, generate banquet orders, and distribute forecasts while ensuring smooth interdepartmental communication. Key responsibilities include collaborating with culinary teams on menu creation, maintaining service standards, and providing on-site presence at events. The role requires proactive follow-up with clients, attendance at committee meetings, and creation of detailed event documentation including diagrams and post-event summaries.

Qualifications:

• Our Director of Catering Sales must have previous 3 years in catering sales in a full-service, high-volume luxury hotel or private club.
• The Director of Catering Sales must have experience with corporate, business conferences, meetings, and weddings.
• Trust, honesty, integrity, and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Director of Events and Catering .
• The Director of Catering Sales must have a proven track record of managing food and labor costs
• Able to work weekends and holidays as deemed necessary.
• Four-year college degree is preferred but not required.
