What We’re Looking For:

 

  • 1-2 years of management experience in an upscale casual dining restaurant
  • Degree in Hospitality Management (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong passion for hospitality and guest service
  • Experience coaching and developing team members
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and safety
  • Familiarity with local and national health codes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

 

Responsibilities:

 

As the Assistant Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Your tasks will include, but aren’t limited to:

 

  • Leading each shift with a focus on smooth operations and a supportive environment
  • Supporting the General Manager in managing programs like MIT, Certified Trainers, hiring, training, and more
  • Handling guest and team member complaints with professionalism and consistency
  • Overseeing FOH systems, including quality control, food safety, sanitation, and budget adherence
  • Maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for both team members and guests
  • Monitoring financials to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with goals
  • Fostering the ongoing professional development of team members
