Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • At least 2 years of restaurant management experience
  • Hands-on approach
  • Strong understanding of P&L, prime cost, food cost, labor cost, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Food/Service Quality:

  • Ensure food quality and excellent customer service
  • Monitor food and beverage waste and inventory levels
  • Resolve food quality issues with the help of the Kitchen Manager

 

Team Development:

  • Foster a strong team dynamic between BOH and FOH
  • Train and develop crew members for future leadership roles
  • Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure great customer service and food quality

 

Management:

  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Maintain equipment in good condition
  • Promote teamwork and a great customer experience
  • Meet key performance metrics (customer service rating, food and beverage cost, etc.)
  • Order and keep inventory of all food and beverages alongside the Kitchen Manager
  • Ensure all crew members meet necessary food safety guidelines and certifications
  • Monitor restaurant tools/equipment and ensure they are kept in good repair
  • Implement inventory rotation (FIFO)
  • Proficient knowledge of all operations to effectively manage both FOH and BOH

 

Experience Level:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management
