Heather has successfully directed culinary and management teams across various highly regarded establishments, including both upscale and casual dining concepts.
Throughout her career, Heather has demonstrated a unique ability to enhance profitability while maintaining quality and operational consistency. Her tenure as Corporate Executive Chef for University of Beer saw her managing culinary operations across four locations, where she standardized training programs, optimized menus, and provided hands-on managerial support. As Executive Chef and Owner-Operator of Grist Beer Hall, a craft-focused gastropub, she handled all aspects of business operations—from recruiting and training staff to crafting menus showcasing seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Grist Beer Hall earned recognition in Sacramento Magazine for “Best of Sacramento” in 2018 under her leadership.
